The client sought a vendor to support the fact-checking of promotional materials to support their Medical Directors. They had newly set up a fact-checking team which included one resource and were seeking dedicated fact-checkers to support the legacy product’s promotional communication and the upcoming launches.

The Solution
EVERESANA kicked off a pilot fact-checking vertical by hiring a team of highly competent and skilled medical affairs professionals with promotional review experience to support the fact-checking review of one drug. The team consisted of 2 India-based FTEs and 1 backup reviewer to support material overflow.
EVERSANA transitioned to supporting the medical reviewer within 3 months.
Over the course of the next 18 months, the medical review team, now consisting of 4 India-based FTEs
(PharmDs / PhDs / MDs), Supported 2 label expansions and 1 new product launch.
EVERSANA created a therapy area-specific reference and core asset repository.
The Results
EVERSANA played a crucial role in ensuring the message conveyed in all the critical and high impact pieces were reviewed for factual, medical, and scientific accuracy, and clinical significance/relevance. In 18 months, EVERSANA reviewed over 2000 pieces and maintained an accuracy score of 99%.
Currently, EVERSANA is a trusted partner supporting 5 therapy areas and is bolstering the client for launch of 2 novel drugs. EVERSANA supports the medical review of their entire drug portfolio.
