Cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, scripts and other tracking technologies are collectively referred to as “cookies.” A “cookie” is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. They are downloaded to your device for various purposes – to authenticate users, recall your preferences, determine popularity of content, measure effectiveness of ad campaigns, analyze web traffic, and understand the behavior of the visitors to our websites.
Cookies can be “session” cookies or “persistent” cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or are manually deleted. Most of the cookies placed on your device through our services are first-party cookies, set directly by us. Other parties, such as Google, may also install their own (third-party) cookies through our services. Please refer to the policies of these third parties to learn more about how they collect and process information about you.
If you would prefer not to accept cookies, you can change the setup of your browser to reject all or some optional cookies. Note, if you reject certain cookies, you may still use the EVERSANA Website, but you may not be able to use all of our services’ features. For additional, general information about cookies please visit https://www.aboutcookies.org/.
2. Types of Cookies

Information collected from these cookies for our purposes may be aggregated but third parties may use the information for their purposes.
- Functional: Help EVERSANA personalize and improve our websites. These may be set by us or third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you disable these cookies, some or all services’ website features may not function properly.
- Targeting: Identify users between different websites and track user actions across the website using encrypted files. These are used to tailor advertising for targeting purposes. They may be used to create a profile of your interests and display personalized advertising on this or other sites.

While EVERSANA does not sell your Personal Data (as that term is defined by applicable data protection law), we do use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, tags, scripts, and device identifiers) for online advertising, including targeted advertising and profiling, and analytics. We may disclose certain online identifiers to our advertising partners and analytics providers. Disclosing these identifiers to third parties for advertising or analytics purposes may be defined as the “sale” or “sharing” of your Personal Data under certain privacy laws. You may opt-out of the sale or sharing of your data for marketing or analytics by deselecting Performance and Targeting cookies in our Cookie Preference Center. If you opt-out, you will not receive customized advertising; however, you may still see non-targeted advertising related to our Products and services.

You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data (including your IP address) by downloading the Google Analytics Opt-out browser add-on, available at Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on Download Page. For additional details on how Google uses data, please review Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
When Google Analytics cookies are placed on our European Economic Area (EEA), UK or Switzerland Sites or on the computer of an EEA, UK or Switzerland resident accessing our Sites, the information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site is generally transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there.
